Introducing: 3-Way Split

This is the latest project I am involved with featuring Saxophonist and leader Ian Hill and Drummer Dave Anderson. A trio without a regular chordal instrument except the bass, makes for a very open and spacious soundscape that leaves a lot up to the listener.

A great and very enjoyable challenge to keep the audience engaged!

To quote from the press pack:

The result is an exciting new blend of sounds and textures which are atmospheric, accessible and unique. Their excellent musicianship alongside creative vocal narratives allows these guys to cross and combine musical landscapes with catchy lyrics and the spoken word.

`3 Way Split` are an ideal opening act for jazz and contemporary music venues, music festivals, art exhibitions and spoken word or poetry events.

“Interestingly sparse, haunting.....and groovy!”

Catch us at Strays Bar in Newark on the 31st July. Check out the link:  http://www.strayscoffee.co.uk/event/ian-hill-trio/
